With your Fredericksburg home treated on a schedule, you're keeping on top of pests before they build up, so you see far fewer of them.
If pests return between your regular services, we come back and treat them at no additional charge.
Because the house is being maintained, you're not worrying about pests coming right back and paying again every time they do.
Residential pest control in Fredericksburg works the same way on every house: a simple three-step process, from your first call to ongoing service.

Tell us what you've been seeing and where, and we'll get you scheduled for a one-time visit or started on a plan.

The first visit starts inside with an inspection and treatment. Your technician will tell you what was found, where the pests were getting in, and what's being used to treat them.

On a plan, we come back on your schedule and treat the outside of the house each visit. If anything shows up between visits, call us and we'll come back out.
“We've used Hill Country Pest Control for several years. The service they provide is always top-notch. They're friendly and knowledgeable. Their pricing is reasonable and they stand behind the service they provide. Nathan came out promptly this morning, did a very thorough job spraying our yard, and made sure to explain the chemicals he used.”
“We won't use another pest company! Love this crew! Quality service, fair pricing, very respectful and knowledgeable staff.”
“Hill Country went above and beyond to make sure our experience was exceptional! They are thorough, caring and most important of all our pest issue has been eradicated!”

If you don't see your town, give us a call at (830) 997-5080 and we'll tell you if your property is within our service area.

If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to call us at (830) 997-5080.
Both are available, and neither requires a contract. One-Time Service is a single visit for something immediate or occasional. If you would rather the problem didn't return, our ongoing plans run annually, quarterly, bi-monthly or semi-annually, and you choose the frequency.
We come back out and treat them at no additional charge. That applies on the ongoing plans, whether you're on quarterly, bi-monthly, semi-annual or annual service, and you don't need to wait for your next scheduled visit. It doesn't apply to a one-time visit.
Every structural pest control business in Texas is licensed by the Texas Department of Agriculture. Our license number is TPCL 5395. Products are applied at label rates, which is what that license governs. Please tell us before the visit if there are pets, children, livestock or anyone with a sensitivity in the house, and we'll explain what we're using and what to do during and after the treatment.
Not for exterior service, which is one of the reasons many of our customers prefer it. Service normally begins with an interior inspection and treatment, and after that how much of the work happens indoors is largely up to you. Some customers would rather we came inside each visit and we're glad to do that. Either way, if pests are present inside the house we treat inside.
Usually because they are being flushed out of hiding, not moving in. A treatment can bring insects out of wall voids and other hiding places before it finishes working on them, so activity can appear to increase for a few days. If you're still seeing the same thing after that, please call us and we'll come back out.
Yes, scorpions are among the pests covered on a residential plan. The one that gets into Hill Country houses is the striped bark scorpion, which the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service's Field Guide to Common Texas Insects calls the “most common and widespread scorpion in Texas.” Adults run about two and three-eighths inches long, and the guide notes that many reports in homes are associated with attics. Treatment works alongside keeping grass down and closing gaps around the house, and we'll tell you what we see while we're on the property.
It depends on several factors, such as the size of the property, the pest, and how far the infestation has gone, so we need to gather some information from you before we can give you a quote. To find out what it would cost, give us a call and describe what's happening. We'll make our recommendation and explain what it will cost before we do anything else.
We provide residential pest control service in Fredericksburg and the rest of Gillespie County, along with Stonewall, Harper, Johnson City, Blanco, Llano and Mason and the surrounding Texas Hill Country. If you aren't certain whether your address is in our area, please call and ask.
Most people notice no strong odor, if any. The products are modern and approved for use in homes, and not every treatment requires you to leave. We do recommend that anyone sensitive, and anyone pregnant, is out of the house during the service and for a short period afterwards. Tell us who is in the household when you book and we'll tell you exactly what to expect.
In most cases quarterly service is what a house needs, though it depends on the property, the pest and the pressure around it. Monthly service was once the standard recommendation, but with current products it's rarely necessary. We'll set your plan to what the property needs.
Our plans cover the pests that commonly turn up in Fredericksburg-area homes: ants, scorpions, spiders, roaches, crickets, fleas, flies, silverfish and the rest of the common household pests. Termite control and rodent control are separate services. If you're unsure whether something is included, please ask when you call and we'll let you know.
Give us a call or send us a few details through the contact form, and we'll set up a one-time service or get you started on a pest control plan for your Fredericksburg home.
